Sorrento with Belleair Holidays

Located close to the city of Naples, Sorrento remains a firm favourite with visitors from Europe and beyond. Sorrento is made up of elegant squares and boulevards lined with exclusive shops, intermingled with the areas famous ice cream stands. Lemon cello is produced here (and can be seen made) and seems to be on sale in every other shop.
Visitors can also relax on the beaches which front the town, before heading out to the old town In the evening. The areas of town comes alive with street cafes, bars and restaurants of all descriptions.
Due to its proximity to Pompeii to the north and the Amalfi coast to the south, Sorrento provides an ideal base for a weekend visit or a longer stay.

The Amalfi Coast with Belleair Holidays

Located to the south of Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast winds its way along the Sorrentine peninsula for some 40km south past the resorts of Positano and Amalfi and on to Maiori and Miori before the coastline becomes more populated at Salerno.

Probably one of the best methods of seeing the coastline is by tour bus or private minibus, as the road can be very busy and a little narrow in places. The views though, are stunning with lemon groves clinging to the cliffs and castellated towers spaced at regular intervals. Four of the more popular resorts of the Amalfi Coastline are featured, Positano and Amalfi which give the coastline its name. Further to the east, Maori and Minori are both popular beach resorts.
