Rhodes

Rhodes, Greece
The largest of the Dodecanese chain of islands, Rhodes sits in the South Eastern corner of the Aegean and remains one of Greece’s more popular vacation destinations. Blessed with a longer season than some of its more northerly neighbours, Rhodes is home to a wide range of holiday options, from Rhodes town-steeped in history with its ancient fortifications to the almost Cycladian Lindos with its sugar cube houses spilling down to the sea. Our tour takes in a variety of sites you will encounter when visiting Greece’s Island of the Knights
Lindos, Rhodes
Located on the South East Coast of the island of Rhodes, Lindos lies around 50KM from Rhodes Town. The village consists of two bays (Main Bay and St Pauls) which sit each side of the Acropolis with its castle, some of which was constructed by the Knights of St John. Main bay is home to the main beach and smaller Pallas Beach with St Paul’s also featuring organised sunbeds and parasols. The main part of the village sits in between the two and below the Acropolis with its whitewashed, sugar cube houses. The maze of streets offer cool shelter from the sun as temperatures usually average 3 degrees more in Lindos than the rest of the island.
